Sunset Opera 2015

Our 2015 Sunset Opera set the gold standard for operatic events in small parks. The intimate setting of the secret garden that is Mapesbury Dell bought real magic to  various popula opera pieces.

And this was no amateur operatics. The carefully selected pieces were all wonderfully performed by great professionals to huge applause.

The power and emotion of it all was enhanced by the performers' decision to leave the stage and act out the stroires behind the peices right in amongst the audience. Where else could you experience this? Your very own private opera. Amazingly moving and just joyous.

Better still, as with all our events it was free!

The catering was better than ever this year, with delicious 'build your own' picnic baguettes, carefully selected wines and scrummy ice creams.
