Early days of the Gardening Club
The Gardening Team works reallyhard to look after the Dell. Without it and all the volunteers who support it, the Dell would soon revert to the shabby place it once was.
But it's not all hard work – you can get some fresh air, light exercise, friendly interaction and you can be sure of a hot drink and biscuits. You'll also have the satisfaction of becoming a member of our award-winning team. Oh, and of getting dirty hands! But you can wash these in our clubhouse.
Just look at the results
The Gardening Team meets regularly on Mondays at 10.30am for an hour or so and is always looking for more volunteers. Of course, attendance is not compulsory - we are grateful for any time you can spare.
Although the regular meeting time is Monday, you are welcome to pitch up and get stuck in any time that you get the urge. There's always plenty to be done.

The Dell is closed on Monday mornings until 12.30pm for the gardening club.
