November and December were busy Months:
We managed to get so much done last month: -
- a woodland path leading to blackberry bushes. How nice will it be for our children to pick and eat real fruit next autumn? Wonderful;
- collecting and planting a beautiful Acer to replace the Olive tree sadly lost during the St. Jude's storm. They had to use a JCB to load it into a volunteer's truck. Lucky the fork lift didn't pierce the trusk. Imagine getting it out. Heavy!;
- fitting a rose arch at the end of the entrance passageway. This will just look magnificent next year;
- building a greenhouse for the gardening club. This must have been the most complicated structure ever built. Just as well there is no sound with the photos because the language was fairly choice!
Of course, the real point here is that it was all people working together, enjoying themselves, making new friends and doing constructive to improve our neigbourhood. The Trust cannot thank our helpers enough. Thank you!!!
